Independent Study courses are non-term based correspondence course. Please go to How it Works to see how Independent Study courses are different from regular term-based courses.

Anyone may register for Independent Study courses. There are no admission or entrance requirements. You need only a desire to learn. Registration in specific courses may require prerequisite courses or experience. See course descriptions for specific requirements.

Tuition: $101 per credit (CBE – credit by exam courses – tuition is $230)
Nonrefundable registration fee: $25

Print-based course delivery option:
Tuition: $101 per credit (CBE – credit by exam courses – tuition $230)
Nonrefundable registration fee: $25
Nonrefundable hard copy course guide USPS delivery: $25.00
