How It Works - High School
Independent Study offers you an alternative for earning high school credit and meeting graduation requirements. When you enroll in Independent Study courses, you work with Oregon-certified teachers via the Internet or the mail to complete coursework within two to 12 months per semester course, with a six month extension available (effective July 1, 2008, the six-month extension is no longer available). You can start an online course any day of the year.
